Perth After Hours Medical Service has been providing after-hours Doctor Home Visits on behalf of General Practitioners to residents of Perth for nearly 5 years. Your regular GP is the best place to receive medical attention and we compliment daytime General Practices by offering after hours home visits to their patients when they are closed. Our service is not to be used for emergencies, and for convenience purposes. Please check the Areas Covered section to see the suburbs that we currently cover.

Our hours of operation are:
Patients are always advised to consult their regular GP if they are open and available. We at PAHMS are here to support day time GP’s for when they are not available, and in no way replace a regular GP. Our services are available to patients whose medical condition cannot wait for next in-hours period, and needs to be seen and treatment started during after-hours period.
Our call centre starts taking patient bookings at 4:00pm on weekdays, 10:00am on Saturdays, and 24 hours on Sundays and Public holidays. Please note that patient calls taken between 4pm to 6pm on Weekdays & between 10am to midday on Saturday are treated as Non-Urgent, and all Urgent calls are taken only after 6pm on weekdays, and after midday on Saturday.
Our trained Call Centre staff performa a phone triage to make sure that we can provide with best possible & appropriate care. Our Doctors will also call you for a phone triage prior to their visit so they can advise you on any necessary steps you might need to take for your condition before they arrive. You will also be informed of the approximate time when the Doctor will be visiting you. After a visit by one of our Locum Doctors your GP will receive all treatment notes and relevant information. Follow-ups and ongoing medical treatment can then be conducted by your regular GP.
Our Doctors carry both a supply of emergency medicines and a majority of normally prescribed medicines. These can be administered when necessary either in the case of an emergency, or as an initial dose of medication so that the patient can then fill their prescription in the morning.
In case of a medical emergency, please dial 000.
